I have been a part of Her Campus UCF since January 2025. I started on their marketing recruitment team, then became a writer in the fall of 2025, and this semester, I have now become this chapter's first podcast host! Here is our inaugural (and only, for now) episode. As the host, I am in charge of vetting guests by using a series of questions that I have produced that are approved by the President. I then coordinate schedules with guests on when they can appear.
I was chosen for this responsibility as I have the ability to make people feel at ease, even just upon meeting them. I also make sure to keep the show on topic and complete it in a timely manner. I have found a real support system within the women of Her Campus and am excited to give back to them in this way.
Here is a VO I did for The Charge On Air's Newscast. It featured UCF's biggest capital campaign launch in the university's history.
Here are some clips from my internship at Advent Health Children's Hospital. My co-anchor and I, Emmy Bailey, co-hosted the Kids TV program that aired internally at the hospital. As an intern, our duties were to set up the camera equipment, write scripts, and conduct multiple interviews with patients, nurses, and doctors. We were in charge of editing the footage and uploading it to air for the hospital.
As a part of our Electronic Journalism 2 class, we are supposed to shadow the current capstone class that runs The Charge on Air. Here I am anchoring the webcast. I wanted to make sure I get all the experience I can, especially since my class and I will be taking over next semester,
In addition to anchoring, I also want to make sure I know how to do every role in the webcast. Here are the times when I have been the assistant producer and producer on the webcasts.
Above is a VOSOT I was able to do for The Charge on Air about a farmer's market held right on UCF's campus.
